Where to get new brakes
Finally after 40k miles I need new brakes. Lexus prices I found run as little as $300 and as much as $415. That is for pads and resurfacing. Any opinion and having it done by a mechanic (midas, pep boys, etc.)?

Please send me info on the vendor on ebay who sells the slotted brembo rotors for the GX-470.

Nice find, Cap! So you know if there are any special pads needed or new caliper for those discs? My only concern going forward is how the dealership is going to react if I change them out (i.e. "you know that any failure to the vehicle is not going to be covered by Lexus now" type statement). I am all for it, but curious what will be any negative concern.
