GX 470 - Help with buying
I'm in the Dallas area and want to buy a new GX 470. Should I buy an '06, or wait for an '07?
I have to buy by the end of the year (I won't bore you with the reasons). I had a dealer tell me $1,000 over invoice over the phone, so I assume I can get them down to $500 over invoice for the 2006.
When the 2007's come out, will they stay closer to the MSRP for several months, or should I be able to get one for $500 over invoice right away? Thanks in advance!!

I have not heard what the differences are between 06 and 07. Another forum states that the major redesign will be in 2008.
If you get the 06, make sure it has SmartAccess keyless entry and ignition. Lexus website currently shows this as standard, but I purchased my 06 GX prior to this. I am not sure if all 06 GX are now shipped with this.
Wait until September to see the prices for the 07. You will always get a lower price with the 06 because dealers want to clear out older inventory. I would personally get an 07 because of the higer resale value. Also, I don't think SUVs in general are moving, so you should get it at a little over invoice.
