Can't go wrong with these Cap!
What was Toyota thinking when they offered these wheels on the 4Runner and not the GX?!
the wheels fit and look like they were made for the GX!

Dan.....

I expect to have the Wheels and Tires installed in about 10 days. Michelin 265-60-18 Cross-Terrains have been ordered and Toyota 18" 4Runner wheels are being chromed.

Will post picture.

I am also in Orange County. So you guys are happy with this OEM RIMS? Can they also mount tires and install them onto your vehicle all at the same time? Also how about the center caps, can you get Lexus ones or have to live with the Toyota Center caps? Thanks again for this great info!

lexguynj- hey there buddy! long time no see.
OEM RIMS has my satisfaction of approval
i believe that they can mount and balance, but i'd take it somewhere where they have a hunter balancing machine (discount tire, america's tire co. etc)
6 lug toyota/lexus vehicles have a hard time balancing.
center caps can be either "L" or "T", your choice.

I agree too. Waiting anxiously. What a great change from the standard OEM rims without going to huge and blingy.

food for thought, anyone try putting FJ Cruiser rims on a GX? Since the FJ rims can fit a 4th gen (03-06) 4Runner, I presume it can be put on the GX.

The FJ Cruiser uses 265-70-17 tires. The GX uses 265-65-17 tires. The difference would make the diameter about 1" bigger on the FJ.

Those wheels look really nice Cap! Where did you get those Prado taillights? Are they OEM or aftermarket and were they hard to install?
Thanks.

I like it, nice and clean even in Chrome. Finally a solution to a great upgrade for your GX!
