mkool.....

You are welcome. I do not understand what you mean about taking a shot out of the shade nor do I understand your question about power coating. Sorry.

Please post more photos of both your chrome and non-chrome 18" rims. Would love to see more and in more light too.

Thanks again.

I really like your new wheels, I want to switch out my GX wheels for the same wheels. I was wondering if you know of anyone who has installed the same wheels in chrome and has a photo of the chrome wheels on the vehicle.
I can't seem to find anyone who has these wheels on their GX in the chrome version. Definately would like to see them on the vehicle before I buy a set for $1100 from OEM Rims in Anaheim.

P.S. just saw the wheels pictured in chrome, but would like to see a better side view if possible.
Anything that you have would be greatly appreciated.

hey cap, i saw the same company on ebay. i was about to give them a call and ask them if they take trade ins. If i do get the 18" 4 runner rims i wouldn't have any use for the OEM rims.

do you think they will give me credit for turning my OEM rims? i didn't think most of you guys would like that rim. I was truly hesitating but to see alot of positive feedback, i might get it myself. good thing they are local...no shipping charges.

Oh man, it seems you guys have got the ball of interest rolling in all of us GX owners, so if BLKGX470 pulls the trigger on this, I'll have to do the same (if my wife will let me :-)

called today, spoke with a lady named Ann and asked if they take trade ins for our OEM rims but she said nope. I was hoping they would. All they have to do is chrome it and sell it on ebay or something. but oh well...but they do have these rims in stock.

hey cap, what did you do with your OEM 17" rims? did you sell them? know a place that buys these? otherwise, they would be just sitting in the garage collecting dust and taking lots of space. (wife wouldn't be too happy with that) hehehehe!

I still have them, tires and all, including the Tire Pressure Sensors. There is still a lot of rubber left on the tires, at least another 20,000 miles. The chrome on the rims have a few pits.

Don't forget, you will need new tires if you get new rims.
