Default driving mode

hi guys, newbie here. i just bought my gx470 (2006). i have a question. what should be the ideal small shifter mode when driving city-highway---huigh, low or neutral? also, does anyone use 94 octane gasoline? does it make a difference over 91 octane?

thanks...

ALWAYS High!!!!! ONLY use Low if you are ever stuck in mud or snow. You can only go about 20 mph tops in Low. The neutral exists only to change the gears!

94 octane is prob overkill. 91 is sufficient.

When shifting into Low you have to stop the GX, and put in neutral. Then you shift the 4WD lever into neutral and then low. It just allows the gears to switch.

Xzilon protection is a type of chemical that is put on your car that acts as a rigid wax. It keeps your paint looking good and the water always beeds.

I don't have pics of the clear bra yet, but i can get some.

Welcome Amnon!

You bought a good vehicle for Quebec!

While you are looking, you do NOT want to drive with locked differentials except in extreme snow/mud conditions. There is a small button that locks the diffs and there is no warning if you push it, even by accident - just a small light that goes on.
