I'm looking to install a dual-band rig in the GX. Has anyone tackled this yet? This is my 1st Lexus so I'm not real good at popping off panels, drilling holes in firewalls, etc. The audio and temp control stack is tight so I'm not even sure where to mount the display. Any suggestions?

I don't have any radios in my GX. I guess I just haven't had the urge to do it yet. I have a couple of dual banders stored in the closet so maybe I'll put that on my list. As far as installation, I have had my dash completely apart to install XM and it isn't difficult at all. I have a DIY somewhere on this forum and there is also one with pictures. Just take your time and you shouldn't have any problems. As to location, I guess it depends on if you have a removable face plate or not.
