Pretty soon it will be time to buy new tires. Currently it's wearing dunlop grand trek tires. I would like a bit more aggressive tire so I was thinking of the Yokohama Geolanders. what has everyone been replacing their oem tires with?
Thanks

My GX originally came with the same Dunlops. After the Michelin cross terrain replacement it was an altogether new ride. Couldn't be better. I'd highly recommend cross terrains.

I'm in the same boat. I used the Geolanders on my Escalade and they were very nice tires. Quiet and long lasting. The GX came with the cross terrains and after 22000 miles, they are toast. I think I'll buy the Geolanders as a replacement. They are also much less expensive.

I ended up ordering a set of the Yokohama Geolander at-s.

They look more agressive than the dunlops. I fear they will be noisier but I would like the added traction when we go to the snow.

Good Choice! I currently have the Revo's, and could not be happier with their performance for my on/off-road needs. I've been eyeing the A/T-S's as a replacement for the Revo's next year, so let us know how they perform.

I got them put on last night. They look cooler. I couldn't tell much difference in the ride from the old tires. My wife called me to say that the tires were rougher. I told her in my best soothing announcer voice that these tires have a more aggressive tread for a more aggressive SUV driver. she had a good laugh.

I went with Bridgestones but instead of the Revo's I went with Alenza. They were made specifically for luxury SUV's. I like them even better than the Michelins. Definitely worth a look.

Those look far more aggressive than the pics on Tirerack or Yoko.com-I like them! My wife and I had the same conversation when I first slapped the Revo's on her GX. She complained, but liked their performance enough to not want me to swap back to the Michelins, which I saved in the event she woosed out.
Come back with a full-report when you have more time on them (dry, wet, hydroplanning, off-road).

We're going to Tahoe next month so I wanted to have good tires on before making the trek. All these years of having to slap on chains will be a thing of the past. Just hopefully conditions won't be so bad that even 4X4's need chains
