Default Reverse Mirrors

Just wondering if anyone is having issues with their side mirrors when in reverse. Since its turned colder my side mirrors stopped tilting down when in reverse.

Maybe a dumb question, but is the mirror selector switch in the middle position?

Yeah, they'll only tilt if the switch is on "L" or "R". In the middle, they don't tilt. That's a design feature so that you can turn it off.

Default Slow tilt or no tilt sideview mirrors

I had my sideview mirrors assays replaced due to open circuit...slow to tilt or no tilt at all. Service bulletin is out for this fix.

I had mine replaced too...if they are slow, intermittent or simply do not work, they will just replace the actuators. There is a TSB out on this, ask your service rep.

Is this an obvious problem that kicks in all of a sudden when they stop working or something gradual?

Hey guys, sorry to bring this thread back from the dead but does anyone have the TSB for this? I would like a copy to bring with me to the dealer as mine just stopped working over the weekend. Thanks!

CdeFabio...you might want to try this TSB EL006-06 , they need to replace the actuator sub-assembly.
