ok this is concerning me a little. this morning when i first drove my vehicle and it didn't shift out of the first gear until i have to took my foot of the gas pedal before it shifted to the second gear. the needle was at 2500 rpm and it was still in the first gear. but now its all back to normal. is this ever happen to anyone of you? should i go check it out at the dealer? thanks in advance.

2500 rpm isn't really that high. Most likely your transmission wasn't warmed up, i wouldn't worry about it.
