How much it's worth ?
My parents are looking at an 04 in grey with black that has everything you could get from factory , 29 k miles in very good condition but rebuilt title , they know the guy very good and he says it was a minor damage but we did not seen any pics , is it worth looking at it ? His asking price is $30 k . What do you think about this vehicle ? Thx in advance

I would stay away from a rebuilt title(salvage) for a few reasons:
1) Many major insurance companies will not insure them
2) Most finance companies will not touch them in case they are financing
3) Hidden damage. Regardless of how well they know someone ,there is always that ??? there of what happened.
4) Resale value. It is not easy to sell a vehicle with a bad title unless your willing to dump it
5) Inspections, California requires a brake/lamp inspection every so many years on cars with salvage titles. Not sure of your state.
30K, I would bite if it was 22k depending on what happened. You can get a nice 04 GX around that mileage for around 32-35k if persistent so why bother with problems.

Agree w/ Pearlpower.
Not worth it at that price or the hassles of a salvage title. Once it has a salvage/rebuilt title you should expect to either drive it into the ground or take a MAJOR bath on resale or trade. Also, FWIW, a salvage title really doesn't happen unless an insurance co deems vehicle a total loss. That means repais from an incident are estimate to be >75% of replacement value. So, I'd be a little leary of the 'minor damage' comment.
Since you are in a Lexus competitive market (large metro area w/ more than 1 dealer), I would expect to see a price of $32-34K on an '04 from a dealer.
