Default front end clunk?

I have an 07 GX with a little over 4K miles on it. Just a few weeks ago, I noticed that the front end has a slight vibration/bump/clunk just before coming to a complete stop or starting off from a complete stop. Doesn't happen every time, but it has gotten slightly worse in the past few weeks. It is similiar to the rear end clunk that I read about, but in this case, it's the front. Anyone experience anything similar? I feel a 2-4 short up and down bumps as I stop or as I start. Could it just be my drive shaft needs to be lubed?

I just read more about the clunk and see people reporting that it happens frequently after coming off a highway offramp. That's exactly when I feel it. Everyday as I get off the highway, I will feel the front end bump a few times as I stop and start again. Doesn't happen much otherwise. I can't possibly be confusing the front end with the rear end clunk right? I thought it was warped front rotors or alignment, but I believe it's some sort of drive line problem now.

It's the clunk... I thought the same when I 1st felt it. I thought it was in the front under the engine or something, felt like the whole engine kinda thump or something. But its the clunk more than likely. Refer to that famous 1st clunk post.

Does it feel like a car tap you in the back? Thats what the rear clunk feels like. It happens more often when you are stopping from high speed or stop hard. After you stop, you feel a bump a second or 2 later. The problem is worst when you have the AC on.

Right now, it doesn't feel like a car tapped me in the back. It has gotten worse and maybe it's just a matter of time before it feels that way. At first, it felt like there was something wrong with the front tires/rotors (a sort of unevenness after braking from high speed and starting again). Now, it feels like the front end is buckling and bumping a few times - not that noticeable, but I definitely feel it everyday coming off an offramp. This is an 07 too.

If this happens before you come to a stop, then it is not the rear clunk that everyone is talking about. Sounds like a problem with your brakes, maybe a trip to the dealer to find out whats going on.

I have the same on my 2003 GX. It seems more of a pop. I even had the drive shaft replaced, but that is a whole other issue (vibrates and buzzes terrible).
