Vaistech SLI w/ DVD Override
I was planning on installing a Vaistech SLI and performing the DVD override on my 2005 GX470. Can anyone tell me if the Y-adapter plug that comes with the SLI can be used to splice the appropriate wires for Speed Control and Parking Brake? I figured this would be a nice way to not have to cut the factory wire.
Thanks in advance.

I just did the SLI install and DVD override at the same time. I was checking into the same idea, but the SLI adapter plugs into the lower stereo wiring harness and DVD override wires on the upper touch screen wire harness.

Since the DVD override is plugged into the Multi Display is there a harness/cable that is available that can be spliced instead of the factory wiring? Basically a cable that has a female input on one end for the existing wiring and a male output on the other end to plug into the back of the Multi Display.

The SLI is working out good. The sound is a lot better than the old cassette I was using. Its nice to be able to control the ipod with the factory controls. I haven't heard of an adapter for the multi display.
