My wife just totalled our 03 and it had nav and it will be at the insurance auctions much sooner than later. I would check out your local salvage yards as a good place to find one.

I have never removed the dash in a GX so I can't tell you for sure, but I am pretty sure these units are self contained and would run off of the existing wiring harnesses. Worst case scenario; you don't have to overide the parking brake safety device.

On another note, I have always been curious about what Disc drive reads the NAV CD-Rom???

You can usually get a lot more functionality by going aftermarket, but if you want the OEM look and feel eBay is always a good place to look.

This one is an 04, but keeep looking, you can usually find an 05 or 06.

The wiring harnesses are very specific. A BT version from an 05 will not work in the earlier version vehicles. The necessary wiring harness connectors are not present. And they are not completely self contained (speed sensors, gps ant input type and DVD rom) are all external to the unit.

The Nav disc drive is located under the passenger seat.
