Duals on mine-absolutely no increase in MPG but perhaps a couple of ponies. I currently have an intake on it (sorry ,don't post here much) and that seems to have helped out a bit more than the exhaust. Headers is what this truck really needs. They work wonders on my Tundra and SC430 and would really wake this beast up.

I don't have precats on my RX, just a Magnaflow cat. I actually found a big restriction in the width of the pipe between the cat and the first resonator. GX definitely has a good engine/tranny to boost off of compared to my RX.

I agree with you on high altitude killing power, not mileage as I have compared it when running the Mexican gas at sea level and at altitude city/highway and almost no difference.
