Default 2008 GX 470 MSRP, Styling Upgrades, New Colors

The 2008 GX 470 receives additional styling upgrades including a new dark metallic finish on the front grille, chrome roof rack side rails, liquid graphite on the standard 17-inch alloy wheels, a clear rear combination lamp turn signal lens cover, and two new colors -- Salsa Red Pearl and Desert Sage metallic. Inside, the GX 470 receives a new Brown Walnut wood trim and a chrome finish on the front door speaker grilles. Additional changes were also made on the optional Sport Package where the carpeting, third-seat latch and cargo hook will now be black.
The 2008 GX 470 will carry a base MSRP of $46,815, an increase of $180, or 0.4 percent. Additionally, the price of the popular Third Row Seat with Rear Air Conditioner option significantly reduced by $1,545 and will now be offered at $485.

These sound like great potential upgrades! Wonder if the rear lamp turn signal lens cover is the same as the Prado one?

Sounds like way too much chrome, make the truck look cheap.

Salsa Red Pearl. IS that the same Toyota Camry Salsa Red?? Its a very nice color. Should look good on the GX. Very sporty.

Not sure about the Camry, but the 4runner was available in Salsa Red.

So i'm guessing no LED's? ugh...

Yeah I still don't see anything saying LED's or 18's Given that 99% (I think) of GX come with the 3rd seat option it looks like they're effectively reducing the MSRP by $1,365.

If you go to my 4Runner forum ( www.T4R.ORG ) and do a search for "salsa" in the gallery sub-forum you will find tons of salsa red pearl T4R pics, became available in '05 I believe. Will be weird to see a GX in red.
