Default Wheel Help Please.....Pics and specs inside.

I just got off the phone with the Wheel Connection and they said they can get us some 18x9 wheels BOSS 304's with Nitto Tires being 285-35-18. Will this rub? Will we be okay with this setup?

Anyone advise against or for? We want to stay in the 18 range because of the ride quality, but do not want stockers. Thanks for your help!

Alrigt after taking a look at them vs some others - I'm so sure anymore. Anyone have some pics of some good looking wheels on the GX or any advice on some?

Where's the Wheel Thread in here?

That might look a little weird on the GX with that thin of a profile on 18's cuz the overall diameter will be too small I think. For comparison, the 18's on 4Runner Ltd's use 265/60-18 tires (I used 265/65-18 on mine though) and the 18's on LC's and LX's use I believe 275/60-18. So 285/35-18 might look weird. I would think you'd need like 22 inch wheels to get away with a 35 profile tire on the GX.

Also if change the over all wheel diameter then it will affect your speedometer.

The site belows will show the variance.

If you want 18's I would go with a 285-55-18 and stick with about the same diamter tire. 35 series would look ver out of proportion on this truck. Not to mention it would leave you with a very small side wall...I would give you about a month before you bend one of your wheels.

Don't know what I was thinking....well I wasn't - yeah that would look stupid with that 35 profile.

So 285/55's would work? What the largest 18's or other examples are there out there for the GX? Thanks.
