Looks pretty good.

However, I get queasy seeing a 30 series sidewall on suvs, esp. how the gx bottoms out in the rear

Take it easy on the dips

MAJOR PROBLEMS ABOUT LOWERING

If I really want to slam it and make it sit on top of the tire, (dont make fun of me how i explain it im not a car pro so i dont kno the names of every part, bare with me) i have to turn my AWD truck in to a 4x2 because for me to go that low he said i would blow a front axle which rotates the tire because i would be at a angle to much, anddddddddddd I have to cut my stock springs, which really blows. He kept telling me go air bag suspension that it would ride better, but i dont know i dont like that whole idea, come on doing that to a 1972 impala caprice, mayb yes not to a 2007 50k dollar truck, but that gappppp, is destroying me. I was thinking leave it like that, and do something crazy with the system i removed my 3erd row, so 4 15's sound pretty good to me.

so i should screw the lowering right?

I'm not going to say it as well as 1SICKLEX. The wheels are ugly.

Default lowering

hello, may i suggest that if you are going to install 4-15s, possibly extra battery, amps etc and knowing that mdf ( which is normally used for building boxes) weighs in @ 108-110 lbs per 4x8 3/4 inch sheet. not to mention the weight of the speakers and any internal bracing, that you wait to lower your vehicle. I have had customers in the past that did not want to wait till after their appointment to have a large audio install and go ahead and have the car lowered only to have it towed back to the lowering shop to have it lifted back up a bit. turns out to be some sxtra wasted money. just thought i would throw this out there.

You can get a 24" rim and the next guy will get a 26" rim. How big is big enough? Like I always tell me wife, bigger is not always better

you gave me hope for about 5mins. i've been to EVERY custom suspension shop in Connecticut and now the Tampa area here in FL and NO ONE can get it done! we found one possibility, which involved disconnecting the auto-leveling system for the rear, but the downside is the possiblity that it could still try to auto-level itself and essentially blow the airbag due to it not knowing when it was the right height!

i've pretty much given up on it. oh well.

....waiting for the new LX to make it's arrival.

Cmarshack, I can see that by the big rims you got. Some of us have to compensate somehow
