Default Quick question on a few light housing removals.

Alright guys I'm most common around the SC forum but i also have a GX in the family so i have a few questions. The track lighting or the running lights on the step in... how do you remove those housings to replace the bulbs? and what bulb numbers are these? Also all of the interior bulbs are these all 194's? or Something else... i went through all 3 pages on the GX forums and no one has really asked a question like such...

Thanks in advance guys

hi, I just replaced the running board lights with LEDs, yes they are W5W (194) bulbs and can be accessed from behind.

You'll have to reach in and up to feel the connector, give it a twist and the bulb comes out with the connector. There is enough slack to replace the bulb without disconnecting it.

Its pretty hard to take pics from under there, its very tight. Just go undernerth the truck and stick your hands behind the lense and you will feel the connector.

No i meant a picture of the led's installed. I want to see how it looks when the LED's are lit up along the running board before i buy them and install incase i don't like them.

Ahhh, sorry for the misunderstanding. I bought the PIAA LED for the running board, but they were not bright enough. I ended up using the PIAA for the parking light up front. I am now using MTEC tinted bulbs on my running board. They are much brighter. There are a few owner who had install multi LED setup on the running board with good results.
