Would anyone happen to know if I can program one of my garage door opening buttons to work with/as my remote to open a "Gate" in a gated community. I have a separate remote that came pre-programmed for the gate & it cannot be modified. I understand that it works on a 418mhz frequency, (think thats right), which is different than the frequency for a garage door. I have a 2007 GX470. If I can, how would I get it done?
Much thanks!!

I think the GX's garage door opener will work inside the 288-418 MHz frequency range, but dont hold me to this. One sure way to find out is to try to program it and see if it will accept it.

Thanks guys. I actually got my owners manual out & it is easily done. I should have done that in the first place. I will have two buttons dedicated to my two garage doors & the third button programmed for my neighborhood entrance gate.
Excellent.
Thanks again for your responses.
