Oil Filter
I am new to the Lexus family and recently purchased a 2005 GX 470. I do a lot of my own wrenching and need to change the oil and filter on the car. I was looking for the oil filter last night, can someone help me with it's location? Is it easy to access or do you need to remove the cover plates underneath the car? Thanks.

It's for a V8 4runner, but the procedure is exactly the same on the GX. And yes, you need to remove the front skid plate to access the oil filter.
