What kinda deals are there on the new 08'GX's that people are getting? I was wondering how much off invoice have people been getting off?

Any time you can go under invoice, you are doing really good.

Off invoice in Oklahoma is almost impossible to come by. Actually, off MSRP is not exactly easy.

I am waiting on my offer, sticker was 52225, said I'd take it for 47000. I was countered, since I'm a "...repeat, great customer..." 49500. Blah. I told them to call me when they wanted to meet my terms.

Right now I'm not willing to move from 47000, but I know in a few weeks/month I'm sure I'll take it for 48000. I'll update if that happens.

There invoice price for that GX is probably around 45000 to 46000. I would say 47000 is more than a fair offer.

I went to check out a 08 GX470 with navi/Mark Levinson system, rear entertainment, 3rd row, rear spoiler, prefered accessory package, tow hitch package options at a local dealer in Florida. The MSRP was $55,208 and was offered at around $50K (excluding tax, title/tag, and dealer fee). I didn't get the car since my price was set at $49,500.

I have a great connect in Calif for Lexus. Just PM me and I'll give you the scoop. It's a no games, no hassle deal.

Barrel of oil price != price at pump

Btw, I would think the dealers would want to deal more during spring time since winter is when people generally want to get into a 4x4 or AWD vehicle.

The biggest portion of the cost of gas is crude oil, about 50%.
The gas price doesn't reflect to the oil price immediately but expect higher gas price if oil stays above $85/barrel.

I would think Lexus with its on time delievery approach will start cutting production of their slow selling big SUV.
