I took concern to dealer that told me warranty had expired at 50000. very upset but not irate I called Lexus Customer Service. 1-800-25 LEXUS. spoke to Vicki and explained that the book warranty said 72 months no milage limit. Took vehicle back to dealer to have Lexus Link removed because I had analog system and had them look at the wheels to verify that I did nothing wrong. No wheel acid, no curb damage and such. I also sent a picture to Vicki so she could see the BUBBLING. Than I waited and waited and waited for about 4 weeks. Finally got a return call from her with the good news yesterday. She was very understanding about the issue. Today I purchassed 5 new Michelin Cross Terrain tires that will have to be installed on tuesday when the wheels come in. I figured that Lexus will have to mount and balance the tires anyway. I might as well replace the Dunlop at20 tires that have 59,000 miles on them before winter and new baby. I have had the Dunlop tires since the vehicle was new and have not been impressed with them. I can not wait to feel the difference in the ride with the cross terrains. I was also informed by the service rep at the dealer that the process for the new wheels has changed and that corrossion should not be an issue anymore. We will see. I will post again on tuesday night after I pick up my vehicle.

Using your tatics myself. The wheels are literally rotting off the vehicle. Brought it to IRA Lexus in MA and they took pics, said Lexus rep would look at them and get back to me. Got a call from IRA saying they would replace them as a "good faith jesture" for $500. I can by these any day on e-bay for $400. They claim it is not a warranty item. We will see what Lexus America does over the next few days. My neighbor has a 9 year old Hyundai and his wheels are not rusted. What is with this anyway???

Spoke with Vicki today and she stated the Lexus district manager saw pictures taken by the dealership and he is willing to replace them for half price, $500. I informed her I can buy them cheaper than that on ebay. She said there was nothing they could do, the district managers word is final. My final word is, I will not purchase another Lexus. My Toyota's have never had wheels rusting off the vehicle. To bad, I had thought Lexus would be like a reliable BMW or MB but those 2 companies do stand by their products when they break down.

WaterSuper. you live in NH? Maybe it would be worth the ride to Lexus in Sharon MA (Lex of Norwood, new building). Speak to Holly in service. She is getting mine swapped out with a repainted pair at no cost to me. I have a 2004. Tell her "Rocco" sent ya. Ok, my name means nothing there, but it's worth a shot?

Thanks for the input. I will try them out as I blame Ira for the poor service. They could have made that same offer without involving Lexus and I would have been happy.
