Here in the northeast, 99.9% of the RX is driven by female, while the GX is more like half and half. The 4runner is mostly male owners.

I'm not sure the MDX is faster. It may handle better than the RX 350. However the July 07 Comsumers Reports has MDX 0 to 60 as 8.0 sec. and the RX 350 0 to 60 as 7.3 sec.

I also wanted the GX frame and drivetrain because I think it is one of the best SUV's on the market. But I wanted a lower profile vehicle. So the 4runner limited was perfect fit for my needs. I don't like car based SUV's so the MDX and RX were not even on my radar.

Yeah you are right, the RX is faster. I guess I was so used to comparing the GX to the MDX that I forgot about this since the MDX is faster than the GX.

Everyone knows that tv shows are just like reality.

Around here in the san francisco bay area, I see a lot of dyke women driving 4 runners and FJ cruisers but I wouldn't consider them a Dyke car perse.

My main reason for not getting the GX is I wanted the Toyota quality but I wanted a lower profile vehicle. Thats why I got the 4runner. The GX is a good looking car and I would be proud to own one.

That its a classy high quality vehicle that women like to drive. Orange county is a high dollar area and the GX470 reflects that someone is successful. I got the 4runner which is driven more by middle class and does not carry that image. I did not want that image for my 2nd vehicle. I'm single and needed a vehicle that when I first start dating a women I don't want her to think I have "money". Plus when I go to a country western bar I don't want a Mercedes or Lexus sitting in the parking lot for the red necks to use as a target.

If you want those country western gals to think you are poor, maybe you should have bought a Ford Escape

If you drive a Mercedes or Lexus, then a woman has two thoughts:
1. You're rich.
2. You're eating Ramen noodles.

Unfortunately, there many #2's than there are #1's.
