I have had our '03 to the detailer numerous times over the course of our ownership to have them try and remove the denim stains on the driver seat. It is really difficult to remove if it is allowed to accumulate, thankfully we purchased the leather protection package with the GX and after 2 years we took it back to the dealer and went through the steps to have the seat cleaned, Lexus detailers couldn't remove the stain so they recovered the seat for us. Now we keep Lexus Leather cleaner and a soft brush in the door and clean the seat every few days. Even with this the light leather is still slightly discolored.

Our two previous cars had tan leather interiors, and the seats were never stained after 80K plus put on each.

(See the attachment) This car is 2 months old and has 2,000 miles with only occasional (couple of trips a week) jeans wear. Something doesn't add up...

Were you wearing the same pair of jeans?

Got my '08 at Christmas and I have to believe it is from the denim. I thought I was imagining it. It's been on there now for about 2 months. I'll try the leather cleaner and see how it works.

Guys I have not had any issues with blue coming off the denim but I will recommend Leatherique oil to clean and condition your leather. I was able to get some pretty nasty discoloration of my leather with it and left the seats softer then my lexol ever did.
