the part numbers for the hood change .. from 53301-60500, to 60501 in jan 06 .... my question is ... are the front ends the same between these model years .... i am looking to use an 05 front end mask for a 2007 m-y.. will it work ..? the headlights and the bumper cover appear to be the same part numbers...

nevermind ... i will just confirm it and let everyone know ...
its very typical for lexus to change a part number using the last digit ... im verifying it soon . there doesnt appear to be a front end body change at all ..

well looks as if the front end mask will work even up to the 08...
all the same with the exception of the front hood to cover seal ..

Lexus changed the hood seal to improve underhood cooling around that time and I believe the hood required 2 new holes for the seal to clip to the hood. So that is the reason for the change.
