Default Thanks!

This is what I was thinking to do. I have a huge blaster and 20ft powdercoating oven at work. Its good to see this color truck with those rims installed!

here I refinished my factory rims to gun metal grey (Nearly black) and added a tire size up 265/70/17 with a 1" spacer. Front end was lifted 2" with Bilstein 5100's. Zero rubbing. Pretty sure the 285/70/17's would fit without rubbing with the bilstein 5100's installed.

I've been looking at those for when it's tire time. What size TRD wheel, and what size tire? Do you have a lift? I have the stock suspension (no desire to change that) and don't want any rubbing.

Also - someone out there has to be making LRD caps for these..

Hi Chip, these are factory TRD wheels from a 4 runner TRD pro. They are 17x7 and the tires are 26

5/70/17. I don't have a lift, but the factory suspension has been replaced with TRD suspension. No more air bags on the back and no adjustable dampening shocks in the front. It rides great and still fits in the garage. I haven't had any rubbing at all, but haven't done much off roading.

Thanks for the info. I was concerned that the front tires would rub at full steering lock, which I need to do in order to back out of the driveway (need to get the HOA to trim those bushes back some...)

My OEM chrome wheels still look good.. but they're starting to flake around the valve stems. So later this year it'll be time to replace them.

FN Wheels type BFD 18x9 0 offset with KO2s @285/65/18. Both fronts rubbed, driver side more than passenger side, but nothing a heat gun and my Dremel couldn't take care of. Stock suspension for now.

Got the put on last year as dealer take-offs. Brand new with tires for $500, can't beat that lol.

Looks better in person for sure!

How did you get 285/70/17's under there with the running boards still on? I have a 2004 with a 2.5" lift. I ordered 285/70/17 Falkens Wildpeaks at discount tire.
I was going to have them mounted on my stock rims temporary but they hit on my Bilstien 5100 control arms and hit about 4-5 inches up on mudflap/running board area. The backspace on your wheels must help but what else did you do? Whats the backspace on those wheels? Thanks

Default 16" rims

Will the Toyota 16" "beadlock" wheels work on my 2006 GX 470?

These are great! I am getting the powder coat treatment (even, same color) to my stock wheels as well. Any tips on what to ask the shop? Protection, coats, chips, etc? Also, how long did this take?

No. Not without shaving the brake calipers, which personally I would never recommend. FN Wheels make a 17" copy. That's what I ordered because I love the look of the "beadlock" wheels. Dustin at FN wheels is great to deal with! Although communication can be a bit slow.
