Hmmmm, interesting, I bought two rubber caps from Sewell, and both of them are just a loose...? Maybe my hitch is out of "spec" and is a bit larger than norm? My 2" bike rack and cargo carrier unit fits just fine though...
Thanks for the info Bob, as of right now, a bit of extra rubber and black electrician's tape is filling in nicely to build up the cap to fit snugly into the hitch for now...

Alex, is the hitch on your GX the one from Lexus? It shouldn't matter since the opening is for a 2" receiver but maybe the opening on your hitch was made a bit to large? On my hitch, I have to tap the rubber cap in for it to seat all the way into the hitch opening.

I've gone through 2 of those Lexus caps. Lost one at the car wash. When I mentioned this issue to my sales rep, he went over to a showroom model, removed the cap, and gave it to me. For some reason unknown to me, this one stuck on pretty good and for over a year now. I guess it's hit or miss (
