See GX, "you are lucky to have a 2004" - - After 2006, they moved the hidden buttons and no one has been able to identify where they are yet. I am going to keep hounding my shop managers down here as they assured me that there is still a way to override the system.

The install wasn't difficult but the instructions provided wasn't to par.

I would recommend having someone help you hold up the spoiler.

Here's the way that I would do it if I were to do this over again.

Go get beer...perhaps a 6 pack or so.

Take masking tape and tape up completely both corners of the area the spolier will connect to the vehicle something like a 8" X 8" square.

Don't drink the beer yet or you'll regret it....ok maybe a sip or 2 but no gulping.

Hold up the spoiler to the position you think is straight and even. Mark the masking tape by tracing around the spoiler leg on both sides.

Using the supplied gasket, place the gasket to the traced spoiler leg on the masking tape and then mark the holes to be drilled.

Take the gasket off and pick a point of reference (something like the corner of the top of the roof) to measure the distance of your marked holes with the point of reference. Compare the mesaurements to the other side it should be the same so its level.

Burp, pass some gas and scratch your a$$

Using a center tap, put a small dent at the center of the drill hole. Use a uni-bit/step-bit to drill your hole to the required size. Clean off the hole removing any metal bits and apply anti-rust compound (if you have a can of spray paint laying around spray over the bare metal). Make sure you put the antirust compound on the inner and outer sides of the hole(s). Remove the masking tape and stick the supplied gasket to the spoiler leg and mount your spoiler.

grunt like Tim the tool man taylor.

I left some of the details out like removing the panels in the back. I also ran into an issue of putting the supplied screws into the spoiler where by the screw falls off the allen wrench and it would fall down to the bottom of the door so I had to take the entire rear panel out to get to it.

cuss a bunch of time because the screws falls quite often and it gets on your nerves.

Look at your newly installed spoiler...of course by this time it might not look straight anymore.

If someone was near by and wanted to do this I wouldn't mind helping and doing a complete write up with pictures.

After all those beers, are you sure your spoiler is on straight? or even right side up?
