Is there an easy way to remove (and put back) cross bars on roof rack?

I too would like to do this. Im convinced they are responsible for alot of the wind noise.

 

You have to remove the cap from the back of the rack and slide it out, be careful with those caps, they can break easily. There is some instruction on the removal of that cap floating around here B 4, try doing a search.
