I have a 2004 GX 470.
Regarding the DVD system, do the headsets have to be plugged into the system (wired) or will the sytem broadcast an IR signal where I could use wireless headsets for the rear seats?
Thanks,
Fred

It seems like some of the folks on this site missed this thread.
I don't have entertainment in mine so I can't say, but responding will bumb this thread back to the top so hopefully someone else can chime in.
Instincts is telling me to say no, I don't believe it does.

To my Kids delight, I now have the DVD system operational.
I purchased our GX as a used vehicle which came minus the DVD Controller, Headsets, and Manuals. I was able to get a DVD Controller and the Wireless Headsets from eBay after repeated assurances from the vendor but no action when asked produce the items.
All 4 headsets work fine using wireless technology.
My oldest son has also been able to connect his wii into the system for an added feature.
