Default I need running boards for my gx470 please help...

Hello, Everyone

I need running/floor boards for my 2006 Lexus GX470. I prefere black. But at this point I will take any color. I can always get them repainted to match my color. I will pay all shipping to cost. Not a problem. My GX just looks so weird without them. Plus it would be alittle easier getting in & out. If you know of any please let me know. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thank You....

Did the previous owner take them off? Just curious.

I know that they pop up on eBay every once in a while so I would check there.

Also I would call around to local salvage yards I would be willing to bet that you can find them there. And just so you know, they are all teh same from 2003-2008 so you need not just look for 2006.

Good luck.

cmarshack,

I bought the car used. They were not on the car when I bought it.

I have checked on Ebay almost every day now.

I called a few salvage yards but so far nothing.

Thanks for all the help... I will keep searching...

This might be close...(but I would not settle) but, I have seen these on junkyard sites from time to time.

I would also contact the dealerships around you and talk to the guys in parts/shop department as they will have connections to these types of parts.

Another suggestion, I would contact a "JAP" shop where you live as they will know how to track these down.

GOOD LUCK - hate seeing a GX out there without all of its clothes on

I would love to see a pic since I hate running boards on any SUV. They look so much cleaner without them. I don't use them and they get in my way all the time. I am only 6" tall. Sorry I won't sell you mine because someday I will sell my GX and the next person will want them.
Would love to see a pic.
I would also like to get rid of the rear spoiler, maybe this summer.

If you're only 6" tall then I strongly suggest you keep your running boards. You may also need another step below the running boards to get up there.

But yeah, we'd like to see a picture of a running board-challenged GX!

I have them and i never use them. I just step out on to the road. Stupid running board sticks out a few inches so it hit the back of my pants sometimes. Why use 2 motions when one works just fine. I took them off a 2004 Landcruiser I use to own and it was so much nicer looking and easy to get in and out of. I know I am in the minority but just my 2 cents.
