that sound a little high. Make sure the dealer is only quoting for the price for items being done per the 60,000 miles in the car manual. Some dealers like to add "extra" items that are not required per the manual. The cheaper option would be take it to a Toyota dealer. They will do the same work for much less. Hope this helps.

I looked at the 60K service schedule and the majority of it is "inspection" of XXX.
Replace engine oil and oil filter
Replace engine air filter
Replace engine coolant
Lubricate propeller shaft (4WD)
Re-torque propeller shaft bolt
Rotate tires
Inspect the following:
Automatic transmission fluid
Ball joints and dust covers
Brake lines and hoses
Brake linings/drums and brake pads/discs
Charcoal canister 4
Drive belts 5
Drive shaft boots (4WD)
Engine valve clearance
Exhaust pipes and mountings
Front differential oil (4WD)
Fuel lines and connections, fuel tank band and fuel tank vapor vent system hoses
Fuel tank cap gasket
Radiator, condenser and/or intercooler
Rear differential oil
Steering gear box
Steering linkage and boots
Transfer case oil (4WD)
You got to be kidding me right? What does "inspection" really mean? I looked at it so that means I did it?
I've decided not to have the dealership do the 60K service. I decided to do what I can myself. I just did the coolant flush yesterday and when I purchased the vehicle I bought a TrueFlow filter. I inspected it and will clean it when its time. Oil change is not due for another 1500 miles so in another month I'll do that.
The only part I'll have the stealership do is the Lubricate propeller shaft (4WD) and Re-torque propeller shaft bolt. The rest I'll "inspect" myself.

Lubing the prop shaft isn't too difficult, you'll need a grease gun and follow this link to hit all the grease-able zerk fittings
