I have 22" wheels on our GX and need to purchase new tires. I ride on a 305/40 size tire. I am convinced that I want to go with the Yokohama Paradas, but what does everyone think? Where do you guys purchase your tires?

I had falkens (came with it) on mine and they separated in the heat.
Now running yokos- huge ride improvement.

Bought 2 sets from them in the past - excellent service with fast delivery.

When the Dunflops need replacing (probably before next winter) will buy from tirerack.com again. Most likely Michelin Cross-Terrains or Yokos.

do you want a street tire or an AT?

cooper makes a LTZ AT that looks cool and goes down to that size. I was going to buy them but the 22s i had where chevy and the hub was way too small.

Thanks for the input guys...I don't really need an all-terrain...but so far the best place I have found is discount tire direct and probably going to go with the Paradas...

Any other suggestions for replacement tires for a 2004 GX470?

I have 20" wheels. (285-50)

I drive almost all "city miles" in Dallas,
some highway miles and of course snow is not an issue.

What is the very best over-all tire available for the GX470?

I read some reviews of the Yokohama Parada and they
were generally good reviews but several said they have
a shorter lifespan and tend to get loud around 10K miles?

Are there other options to consider? Michelin? other Yokohamas?

What is the absolute best if price is not an issue?
