Default Ipod Adapter

I found this ipod adapter and i'm looking for some inputs about this. You guys think i should pull the trigger and try to see how it is? I tried emailing the seller but no response so i'm a little worried. But they have a lot of feedback...i believe something like 96% positive. Anyhow, let me know what you guys think.

Edit: Sorry guys, i read some more of that information that they have posted and it does not work for the gx. I thought it did but it doesn't.

Edit 2: Ok i found the right link and so i replaced the working link with the bad one.

looks to me like a repackaged VaisTech (board sponsor) unit.

Do you think its worth the money though? $134 compared to Vais? I'd rather pay more and not have any problems. I'm still emailing back and forth with the seller and i'll report back with some more updates. Any more opinions would be great! 30+ views and only 1 comment...common people! lol

Hard to say honestly.....

I have the Vaistech SLX in my GX and it works well. Perfect... no but better than having cords and plugs running all over the place. In looking at the VaisTech forum, they've done a pretty good job of upgrading firmware, cables, etc. (at n/c where appropriate) for people when/if needed. Guess it all depends on what you hear back from the seller (warranty, upgrade, issues, etc.).

That being said, item location listed in auction is my neck of the woods. So, I could always help you out and lay down some lumber on them if need be..... but I've never seen an ad or storefront w/ anything close to that name. Furthermore, I get a bit suspicious when people change their eBay moniker. This seller only has 2 ratings but has the appearance of being on eBay for a while.

On a side/related note, on parts for another car of mine, I've seen the same vendor change his name at least 5 times. Once his rating drops below 95%, he'll change names and start over. Personally, I've not had any problems w/ him but I've heard horror stories from others.

Your call but personally I like to know I have someone to go back to in the event there's an issue.
