Which engine would you choose for your 2009 GX? Assume for the sake of this poll that the '09 GX is just a carryover model from the '08 except that each of these engines is readily available in the '09 GX and that the price premium for any particular engine choice is reasonable (e.g., you would have to pay a bit more for the 5.7 instead of the 4.7, with the V6 being the "base" engine, etc). Assume the 5.7 is the one currently offered in the LX570 and that the 3.0TD and 4.0V6 are like the ones offered on the TLC Prado in Jamaica ( http://www.toyotajamaica.com/suvs/pr...troduction.htm ).

I voted for the new 5.7v8. I know I know, gas is really high and we should stick to a smaller engine. But our gx is really heavy, especially for a v6 to be pulling it. We'll burn more gas on a v6 then a v8, simply cause the v6 has to work harder to pull our gx. Also, our v8 in it now isn't really cutting it either. Maybe the 4.7 with vvti is better but i have the 04 so its just 4.7. Diesel is way too high!!!!!!
