Valet driver managed to get ink on my interior door handle - apparently had a pen in his hand when he got in. It shows up quite well on my ivory interior!!!
I've tried interior cleaner, a dry eraser, wife's hairspray, and 3M adhesive remover, with no success. Any suggestions or help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Bob

I would have them purchase a new door handle myself, but if you feel compelled to do this yourself, taken from elsewhere.
ALCOHOL:
"You may read recommendations to use hair spray for ink removal. It
contains alcohol, which is the ingredient that removes the ink. The
other chemicals in hair spray could damage a fabric. Take caution
should you decide to use hair spray on a stain."
"Rubbing alcohol removes ink on all fabrics including leather. Allow
it to set 15 minutes."

Not sure what type of pen this idiot had, but nothing seems to be able to dissolve it. It seems to have somehow penetrated into the plastic/vinyl of the handle. The only thing that seems to work is material removal, i.e. taking an exacto knife and carefully scraping it off!!
