I just bought a used GX, want to find a reliable with reasonable price repair shop for maintence, any suggestions ?

Check out JP Importz (Jason) in Northeast Dallas. He used to work at Park Place Lexus so he knows Lexus in and out and provides much better prices.

He has provided maintenance on my GS400 (60k & 90k service, GS300 (ball joints & door lock actuators) and GX470 (60k service)...he actually performed a pre-purchase inspection on my GX470 last year and gave me an indepth look on my GX.

If you ever have to go to the dealer I have had great
luck with service advisor Ashley Lowe at Sewell Lexus.

I have found that in general, Davenport prices are higher compared to JP Importz, and the Lexus dealerships higher as well, given that the amenities must be paid for in one way or another.

Given the Clublexus discount, as JP Importz is a sponsor here, prices will be lower accompanied with great and knowledgable service.

All of my friends with Lexus vehicles take them there as well and all have been happy with the service and price.

 

If you dont want to take your GX to the dealer you may want to consider taking it to Meneike Car Care Center in Carrollton. I don't know how you feel about going to a car repair shop, but they are really good . The owner of that shop owns a Lexus LS, his wife owns a Lexus RX and he has bought all three of his children Lexus vehicles as well - GX, IS, and GS. I trust them with my car.
