Default Steering Wheel Vibrations

Does anyone know if Lexus has fixed the steering wheel vibration problem?

Not aware there was a problem and I've owned my truck since new Oct '05.

If your steering wheel is vibrating I can only guess that it's your tires out of balance or your rotors are warped. Have you taken your truck into the dealer to have your wheels balanced? I know of instances where tires have been prone to cupping and cannot be balanced and in that case new tires are the only fix.

I've taken it to the dealer and they acknowledged the vibrations. They did a "road force check" and rebalance. This didn't help. Any other suggesions?

Aside from taking it back to the Lexus dealer and telling them in a slightly irritated tone they did not fix the problem and that they need take another look, I have no other suggestions at this point.

The dealer either did not balance the tires correctly, a rim is bent or one or both of your tires are experiencing cupping. In the latter two cases, the technician would not be able to get the affected tire to balance out, which they should be able to confirm for you. They should attempt to rebalance all 4 and ask them to rotate the front to the back. Then take it for a drive with the service advisor sitting in the passenger seat - it's the least he/she could do. Good luck

I had a problem like this, the lousy Falken tires were separating. New tires, no vibration.
At least Discount tire prorated the tires for me so I didnt have to pay full price for the new ones.
