Local dealer is offering it for 15k...I offered 13k....I nervous about the milage...do you think I could get 250k miles out of it? What major services have to be done at 90k miles...and how much do you think they will cost?

How long will it take you to put on 140K miles to bring the total up to 250K?! That's quite the forward looking plan. What's up?

If 90K is a major service and my GS is a fair comparison, you're looking at not much change from your $1K dollar bill. Since it's long since out of warranty, there's no need in my opinion to have the work done by the dealer. This will obviously be less expensive. Running to 250K may bring 3 of those major 90K mile services (90K, 180K and 270K). Lexus or no lexus, I'd say lots of stuff will wear out on its way to 250K miles and that the major services will be the least of your worries.

Without knowing the history of the truck it's hard to say, but if it has been properly maintained it will run to 250k. However, like Johnny Rad said, a lot of components will wear out in that time just simply due to wear-and-tear. I recommend jotting down the serial number and calling a local Lexus dealer and asking them to run the service history. The advisor can also give you a run down of parts that are likely to wear out in that time. Keep in mind the prices and recommended services quoted should be taken with a grain of salt as you can get the work done elsewhere for 60% less.

Good luck!
