iphone 3g bluetooth mic issues
I have a 2008 GX and Bluetooth has worked perfectly with iPhone 2g, but with the iPhone 3G (version 2.2) the other parties complain that they can barely hear me. I have already turned up Bluetooth volume to max and it had no effect on microphone volume. Any suggestion is appreciated.

I have the same issue except with a SC430 with GEN4 navigation. I have done some research on this and it seems to be both an Apple issue and a Lexus issue and no one is doing anything!

Found this from another forum - see if it works
I take delivery of my new GX tomorrow and I am a 3G iPhone user. I sure hope we can figure this out or I'll be very disappointed. I found this on everythingcafe website:
I just got it to work. Follow these steps:
On iPhone:
1) Go to Settings
2) Go to Reset
3) Select "Reset All Setting" (Make sure you save passwords. Data is safe.
On Car:
Select "Info"
Select "Phone"
Select "Bluetooth"
Delete all previous pairings
Once iPhone reboots, turn on Bluetooth.
Pair as usual
It worked for me.
