Default RX350 for Loaner

They had to take my Lexus back to the dealership today because of a constant low tire (nail). I got to drive an RX350 for the day and was kind of looking forward to trying it out. Let me say I was not that impressed. Yes it handled better, but certainly wasn't as smooth on the road as my GX and the engine felt slightly"tinny". Also didn't feel nearly as solid. Made me appreciate the GX a little more.

Yeah I tend to agree... The RX just does not feel as meaty or as powerful, albeit it is a pretty quick grocery getter 0-60. Overall still a nice truck, just not my cup of tea.

I got an RX 400h once as a loaner and thought that was pretty cool or maybe "different" is a better word. It was my first time driving a hybrid, so that had an influence on my impression. Since there is no torque curve, it really launches off the line. Overall I thought it was smooth and quiet - almost eerily quiet while sitting a light or during a slow roll...

had 4 loaners past 2months from lexus...2 rx350s and 2 es350s... we weren't really impressed with rx's but es350s was pretty tempting...

i've been given a gs, which was fun to drive and fast. the es was really impressive, did not feel like it was at the bottom of the lexus line up at all, very nice ride. also had the rx and that was the car i didn;t like that too much. it was the hybrid and the engaging of the engine from the motor whatever actually feels like the gx pre clunk fix but a lot more often... not very smooth.

They're all nice vehicles, but I still prefer my GX because it is more heavy duty, sits higher up, and the ride is really smooth. What more could you ask for?!

gosh darn it....i was thinking about trading my 94 ES300 for an RX330. Anyone opposes that idea?

The wife is in love with the styling of it and she says its her dream car.

Looking at a '05 with 33K on the odom this weekend. pearl white with NAV, MLS, AWD, etc. Dealer is asking $24K.

Dropped the GX off for service today and they gave me a 2009 RX. My wife said it's whiney! Now there's a pot calling a kettle black!
