they are f'n sweet! plus i have the only GX470 in northern NJ with those LED directional mirrors.

it really was a simple install and as i stated earlier, the 2 toughest things were figuring out which wires to tap into and putting the pins back into the correct spots. given the other DIYs and my figuring out which wires to tap into. all the info you need is literally in this thread.

you basically need a 10 mm socket, a wire coat hanger(i used a piece of thin piano wire), a philips screwdriver, a flathead screwdriver, a T25 bit, and a general understanding of how to disassemble and reassemble the doors.

How hard was it to get the inside door panel off?

it literally pops right off. you just have to access the 3 hidden screws and there's one plastic push-pin retainer in the corner near the mirror.

1st silver screw is located under the window/lock switches. the second black screw is behind the plastic cover beind the handle to open the door. the 3rd and final silver screw is located under the leather arm rest.

in the second pic you can see the push pin retainer...same color as the part where the tweeter is. also i forgot to mention that you have to pop off the black cover behind the mirror that black cover is hiding 1-10 mm nut. there are 2 more directly below it. obviously these 3 nuts hold the mirror in place.

Wow! Three screws hold the entire door panel. That's not too bad.

Thanks LZ!

well sort of. the 3 screws and a bunch of white nylon door panel fasteners that are obviously hidden by the door panel itself.

once you remove the screws you can proceed like this

If that's all it takes... cases of micro-brewed beer, well let's see what I can round up for ya!
