Good Deal?? 2006 CPO GX470
Hello all... Is this a good deal on a 2006 GX470? I recently put a down payment on a CPO 2006 GX470 with 36,500 miles on it for $33,500 (dealer want $39k). From looking at edmunds and KBB, I think i got a good deal but i am not 100% sure. This model is fully loaded with all options except for the drop down dvd player. What is everyone else paying for this truck? Let me know. Thanks!

I just bought an 06 GX fully loaded as well with no DVD player. It had 42,000 miles and CPO. Asking price was $31,999 a week ago until this past weekend when it dropped to $29,888 and I ended up paying $28,800.
Regardless of the price drop I was going in offering $29,000 only since the GX with around 42k miles typically sells for around $26,000 at the auctions.

First, congratulations on your new purchase. Second, don't jump to conclusions re: your deal. So many factors go into the purchase price of a new vehicle - esp. that of a CPO (region; time of purchase - early in month vs. later in month; how long vehicle has been for sale on the lot; color; what if any work was necessary to get the vehicle to CPO standards replace brakes, tires, whether you will be purchasing an extended warranty/gap insurance, etc., where you purchased the vehicle (snow state vs. no snow state, plus state taxes and licensing fees, etc.).
Third, $33,500 is a totally reasonable price for a CPO 2006 GX. Is there someone out there who paid $32 or 31 for the very same (or even better) vehicle - YES. Is there someone out there who paid $35, 36, 37 for the very same (or worse off) vehicle - YES.
You did the deal, you got a fair price, you have a great new truck and if it lasts along time and gives no real issues then it was well worth the investment and it really will never matter whether you could have purchased your vehicle for a few grand less somewhere else.
At least that's my take on the whole thing. Enjoy.

I would say that is a fair price - especially for black in what looks to be good condition. They resell better than most other colors.
I just paid $23,500 for a 2003 black/black GX470 with 54,000 miles. I was looking for a 2005-2006, but this one was in mint condition and it had everything I wanted on it. Most of the 2005-2006 I looked at were in good condition, but nothing like this 2003. I think it was an old grandmas car or something

Just picked-up my 1st GX last week-end with 19.5K miles with Nav for 36.3K, but it needs some loving care as I don't think the guy ever washed it. But from looking around for a while, comparing yours to my mine I think you still got a good deal as 1yr difference should be about 3K, that's assuming I got a good deal too!!
