Default 90k service and timing belt change necessary/pricing?

I have 89k miles on my 04 GX and at the last oil change the service technician recommended the two services below.

1 - the timing belt (and all that entails) and 2 - the 90k service.

2 things I could use some help on.

1. Are these both necessary right now?
2. If they are, does this pricing seem reasonable?

Recommended at 90k $1099
Timing Belt, Water Pump, Thermostat, Engine Coolant

90k service For $799
OCS, Rot and Balance, Wipers (front), Engine Air Filter, Brake Flush, Front and Rear Diff fluid, Transfer Case fluid, Multi-point safety inspection, 4WA, MOC kit

Try using the Search function, there are several threads that have covered a lot of these topics. E.g...

https://www.clublexus.com/forums/gx-...k-service.html

I would also recommend you cross referance your owner's manual and stick with what it says and compare it with what the dealer is recommending, you will find often they don't coincide. Find another reputable mechanic in your area and have them give you an estimate for the services called for in the owner's manual.

I think you can buy the parts for 250...to ...300. from Carson Toyota and get someone to do the work for alot less.

I was surprised to find the below statement on the Lexus.com knowledgebase website concerning maintenance and replacement of the timing belt:

What is the factory recommendation to have the timing belt replaced?

"Our timing belts have been very reliable. However, the timing belt is subjected to severe stress if the vehicle is operated under extensive idling or low speed driving for long distances, such as in heavy commercial use such as delivery, taxi or patrol car. If the timing belt breaks, the engine will stop running and will not restart until it is repaired. While it is possible that the original timing belt may last the life of the above engines, for peace-of-mind, the timing belt may be replaced every 90,000 miles. Also, if major engine work is performed, such as a valve job or engine rebuild, the timing belt should be replaced."
