Can I put baby seat in the center of the 2nd row?
New owner question- I've read the manual and I'm still unclear on the correct way to install the car seat in the center of the 2nd row. It doesn't seem like the anchors are located in the right place to allow this. I'm hoping I'm just missing something but can someone chime in?
Thanks

You will end up using the central anchor points for the driver and passenger sides, as the middle position does not have its own dedicated anchors. You will notice that the anchors for the driver side 2nd row are actually offset more toward the middle of the bench, with the central anchor located under the middle seat flap rather than being entirely contained under the driver side flap. This probably has something to do with the 2nd row being a 60/40 split bench. Your anchor belt will look a little off-kilter with one side of the belt longer than the other, but it will still be safe and secure. The same issue occurs when you install an anchored seat on the driver side - the belts are not exactly the same length, but it gets the job done.

As said above, you have to use the lap belt. Make sure you install it, or have it installed correctly.
Center, center (2nd row/middle) is the safest spot for your infant/child regardless of how much more inconvenient it is over using the latch system. Just make sure its installed correctly. No debate; center/center is the safest.
