HI, I just got my 05 GX470 CPO. While I was at the dealer they offered me an extended warranty (5yrs/100K) extra 2 years. This will work for me since the unit has low mileage and I would hit the 3 yrs limit before I would reach the 100K. Anyone had done this and how much did you pay?

It's too late, you can only buy the CPO extension at time of sale.

Unless they are willing to backdate it for you, but you'd need to do that PDQ.

OK, I am confused. If he was offered a 5/100,00k warranty isn't that warranty only good for 5 years from date of service. So, assume in service of 2/05 then that warranty goes to 2/10. That isn't much of an extension. I am missing something? Al

The certified pre-owned warranty is from date of sale.
