Noob thread for brake issue on 07 GX470
Greetings from Dallas---
I'm a regular over on RENNLIST but am new here. For some reason my Porsche seems to have more technical issues, go figure...
Have an issue with my wife's 2007 GX470, after a hard brake application my traction control light came on and stayed on. The vehicle did stop controllably but now there is a slight (flat tire feeling) from the right front tire. Tire pressure in that tire is fine but the light remains on.
Am thinking it could be one of two things:
--ABS wheel speed sensor
--ABS control unit (may try to reset it, has anyone done this? If so, how do you do it?)
A less likely possibility is that I have a sticking caliper and/or a warped rotor
Would like to get some feedback on my diagnosis and if anyone else has had this issue.
Thanks

It is the traction control light, it switched itself off again this morning but the right front wheel was noticeably hotter than the others.
Stuck caliper is what I am guessing right now. Going to pull the wheel and take a look to see what the condition of the rotors/pads/calipers. Will repair/replace if needed.
