Positive Report on Dealer (in SLC) - Backup Camera Repair.
I like to report good dealer experiences - took my 04 GX in today because the backup camera didn't work very often. They had the part and worked on it while I waited (I live 50 miles from the dealer & don't like to drive back and forth), told me that Lexus would cover the repair even tho' the warranty period is up - treated me like a valued customer and I left happy a couple hours later. The backup camera is working fine again.
Way to go Lexus!!

This is great-always refreshing to hear about good service.
Just FYI (and mainly for the benefit of other '04 owners), there is an extended warranty from Lexus on the camera. I don't have it handy to see what the specific terms are, but the camera is definitely covered for longer than the 4/50 warranty due to some defect.

Glad to hear you had great service at Larry Miller. I have been servicing my Lexus cars there since 2002 and have had awesome experiences...now Lexus of Lindon I have had countless nightmares..including a major mistake they made in the 90k service that left my old 98 GS completely crippled. So keep going to SLC!

I also get serviced at LHM in SLC.
LHM's service writers in his SLC dealership have turned over a few times over in the past 1-2 years. All for the worse. As I understand it third-hand, it came down to money for the original batch of service writers ... the dealership wanted them to make less and they didn't, so they walked. The replacements have been nothing short of a revolving door. No Lexus experience and / or tenure has translated to hit and miss service, follow-through, follow-up, etc for me. I'm not happy.
