No Need, If you raise the SUV and observe the front Stabilizer bar. They are held by a bracket assy ( Upper and Lower ) on either side and have a link bush within, observe closely and if they are warped or cut , its time for replace. This has a diagonal effect to the Front Lower Arm and the ball joint attachment, which you get heavy vibration on the steering wheel. However you adjust the cambers nothing will work, unless you replace the bushing, trust me I have already gone this way.

Hey Mann777, is there a way to tighten the tension on the steering rack? All the gs guys do this when they change their steering geometry by lowering the car or oversizing the wheels. They say the steering has a BMW feel too it.

Chris I just saw the members doing the steering stuff, Sadly this is my opinion, this is total non - professional in the way the job of using a bolt. Well you always can use a hexagon wrench (24mm). Anyways now coming to GX the steering rack is not built the GS way, GX steering rack has got a lock nut and a Guide spring below with an oil seal. This when loosened can only help you to remove the Steering Control valve and the Gear assembly. I don't see that happening because there are 2 notch marks on the Steering Tie rod both sides of the rack ends, The threads are the control feature to see either side measurement values. It is the 3 threads to the inner on my GX and I can't see how this will hold within the Steering Rack fulcrum play of the steering limitations, Maybe somebody else could also throw some light.

I wish I could find a place that would align my gx with the 22's.
