Ok, never really owned a lexus, I am a Nissan/Infiniti w/ a 08 g35s sedan, and about 3 other nissans before that. But, my wife wanted this Lexus GX470 she saw for sale at a pretty decent price. Nav, Leather, Wood trim black interior etc etc, When I looked it up, it had every available option for when it was brand new, 2005 w/ 55k miles on it. Only 26,500, I thought it was a pretty good deal especially with her trade in of a 06 TL.

So, she loves it, I think it is a very good SUV for trips and whatnot, but one thing I do not get about it and it might be something wrong with the unit, but when I turn the volume up or down, nothing shows me on the screen what the volume is at or how close to max it is. I am really OCD about things not working perfectly, any help on this? Strictly a lexus thing? Or is it supposed to show it and it isn't?

when u turn the vol up or down it shows up on the nav screen, like a pop up on top for a few seconds. hope this helps. welcome to the Lexus family.

...but not on all model years. My '04 GX doesn't but my '07 GS does.
